Visiting local Montessori schools in Portland
It was so fun to visit 3 Montessori schools in Portland during the 2013 Montessori Congress – West Hills Montessori School, Sunstone Montessori School and Childpeace Montessori School.
They each had a unique feel: West Hills with its own children’s garden and beautifully maintained materials; Sunstone in a more traditional school building with lots of light; and Childpeace located in a more urban setting, transforms a warehouse into a cosy, modern Montessori school.
