KIND WORDS FROM FAMILES

about The Montessori Baby book…

“This book should be on every parent’s bookshelf, even if the parent doesn’t fully adhere to the Montessori education style. It’s simply just a great parenting book about creating a soothing, calm, and thriving environment for the child, starting with infancy. I’m buying this for all my friends contributing to the post-pandemic baby boom. The original books by Maria Montessori tend to veer on the academic side (ie: are difficult to read when small children are nipping at your ankles). This book puts all the Montessori practices and theories into laymen terms. It’s much easier and concise for busy moms to read. It can be read in it’s entirety, or in sections as they apply to your life. The diagrams and photos are easy to understand and pleasing to the eyes. This is a perfect resource to start with for developing an interest in the Montessori education method and lifestyle.”

about The Montessori Toddler book…

The only book you need if you are new to Montessori! From the moment I opened this book I have not been able to put it down. So nice to read, the quality of the book itself is superb, keeps me interested and lots of hands on practical tips, I also love the artwork and photo examples. This book is so spot on and modern not outdated at all! All the recommendations are wonderful. This book has also opened my eyes to view my child and motherhood in a much better and different way, I am so grateful to this Author for such a lovely book. This book also reignited my love for reading.

about The Montessori Child book…

“My parenting bible. The book reassured me in my parenting approach and it also brings me much new inspiration and many ideas for everyday family life. I love the way Davies and Uzodike revisit the works of Maria Montessori and make them up to date and accessible for broad audience. With their help it is easy to bring the Montessori principles in life.”

about The Montessori Baby book…

I got this after having my baby and I so wish I had it before. I am by no means a die hard Montessori mom but I wish I had read more about the simplistic approach to the baby’s space. After reading this I would have had a completely different baby registry and would have loved to put the money towards simple, quality things for my baby’s space instead of all of the developmentally inappropriate toys and things she will never use.

about The Montessori Toddler book…

“This is the best parenting book I’ve read so far. It’s not only a great one-time read, but it’s used as a sort of reference book in my home whenever I’m looking for ideas on activities to do with my toddler or thoughts on how to handle various aspects of toddler development. And as a plus, it’s beautifully designed and has strong, thick pages, which is very helpful when my toddler grabs it!

This book offers straightforward, efficient, and well-organized information about how to apply Montessori principles to toddler life, how to guide your own thoughts on parenting a toddler, and how to involve your toddler in daily life in a way that minimizes stress for both you and them.

about The Montessori Child book…

“It is a gift to watch Simone grow as a Montessori author. This book is full of crucial knowledge about the Montessori method while also hitting all the important points of the 3-12 age range. And a perfect addition to The Montessori Toddler and The Montessori Baby.

It’s an immediate must read and I’ll be recommending it to all the families I work with.”
